Police have launched a manhunt for a syndicate that had robbed a Ford dealership in Barberton of four brand new cars.

The incident happened just after midnight on Sunday, 30 July 2017, where a group of armed men abducted a security guard who was on duty, tied his hands and feet, then stole four vehicles.

The vehicles which were stolen, worth nearly R2 million, include three Ford Rangers and a Ford Everest. Further probe uncovered that the suspects allegedly gained entry to the premises through the roof.

No one has been arrested yet and a case of business robbery is under investigation.

Any person with information is urged to contact Lieutenant Colonel Reuben Pilusa at 071 685 1364.
