Siyabuswa police seek help in house robbery

Siyabuswa police in Mpumalanga are looking for four suspects who entered into a house and robbed the tenants of their cell phones, cash and a motor vehicle.

The incident took place on 07 July 2016 in Maganagoboswa RDP at about 20:40.

The four suspects stormed into the house where tenants are hiring rooms. The suspects went into three different rooms demanding cellphones and cash.

In one of the rooms, the suspects found two victims, threatened them with a firearm and tied the victims with shoelaces. They then took the victim’s wallet, a pair of sneakers and they fled the scene with the victim’s VW Polo 1.6, black in colour, registration number FXR 611 MP. A house robbery case is opened and no arrests have been made yet.

Siyabuswa SAPS has also noted with great concern, the high rate of carjackings in the area. The community is requested to be vigilant especially when entering their houses during the night and also when approaching stop signs and speed humps.
