A family was violently assaulted and robbed in their home on 13 August 2020, at 20:00. Three armed attackers gained access to the house and violently attacked a couple. The brutal assault left both the man and woman with very serious injuries.
The couple have been taken to Medi-clinic in Nelspruit. The level of violence used by the attackers indicates that their intention was much more than just robbery. The man is currently in ICU with a number of broken bones including a broken hip.
The attackers stole electronic equipment, cell phones, bankcards and a firearm. The police are investigating the attack, there have been no arrests.
