Nozipho Yolanda Precious Mabuza (34) was found guilty and sentenced by the Hazyview Magistrate Court on Thursday, 28 April 2022 for Contravention of Section 133 of the National Credit Act, Act 34 of 2005.
Mabuza was sentenced to R5 000.00 fine or 12 months imprisonment, wholly suspended for 5 years on condition she is not found guilty on similar charges in the future.
She was arrested during a search and seizure operation on 4 November 2021 in Hazyview Humelela Cash loans by the Hawks Serious Commercial Crime Investigation team based in Nelspruit together with National Credit Regulators.
Over 500 Bank cards, Cash of R36 730.00, SASSA cards and ID documents of clients were found and seized from her premises.
