Not even a few slithery snakes prevented SAPS members from fighting crime.

On Thursday, 3 November 2016 at about 15:00, police who were patrolling around the CBD, at Hendrina got a tip-off that a certain man is dealing in drugs. They were further informed that the drugs are hidden underneath snakes that he keeps at his house.

Members proceeded to the alleged drug dealer’s house and on arrival, they asked the man to open the glass snake box so that they could search. The man confidently complied thinking that the police would be afraid of the snakes. Surprisingly and to the dismay of everyone, a female Constable got hold of two pythons shifting them so that they could be able to search that area.

Ninety (90) pinches of nyaope were found at the premises. The man was then arrested charged for possession of drugs. #DrugsOffTheStreets.
