The earlier reports on the deterioration and the even collapse of the country’s health sector was further highlighted by announcing that Mpumalanga hospitals and clinics will now receive armed guards to ensure the safety of staff and patients.
This follows as a result of a lot of robberies from these facilities.
The costs associated with the deployment of the guards has not yet been calculated.
