A 55 year old man was stabbed to death with an unknown object at a farm in the Barberton area near Nelspruit today. According to information the incident took place this morning at about 01:15 when five unknown men broke into the house where two males and a female were asleep. Three of the men were armed with firearms. The victim was stabbed when a struggle ensued between the victim and the suspects and he died at the scene.
The suspects fled with various household items in the victim’s vehicle, a Silver Chevrolet Utility bakkie with a canopy, leaving two other family members unharmed. A manhunt has been launched for the suspects and police are investigating a case of murder and house robbery.
