Police are looking for suspects following an incident whereby a 28 year old businessman was robbed, shot and killed by unknown suspects. The incident occurred at Machadodorp on Wednesday 25 December 2019, at about 19:30.
According to information, the man was robbed of undisclosed amount of cash, cigarettes, as well as a machine for airtime and fatally shot at before the suspect(s) fled the scene.
Police and the emergency personnel rushed to the scene whereby the man was certified dead. A case of murder as well as robbery are being investigated by the police.
No arrests have been made yet. Police have since launched a manhunt and call on anyone with information that can assist in apprehending the suspects to call 10111 or anonymously call 0860010111 and members of the public can download MYSAPS APP to anonymously send information to police.
