

An intelligence-driven operation conducted on March 20, 2026, led to the arrest of a suspect on charges of drug and dagga dealing in Sakhile, Standerton.
The operation involved the Mpumalanga police, the K9 Unit, a local security company, and the Secunda Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (DPCI).
According to authorities, officers acted on received information regarding drug dealing activities in the area. During the operation, the suspect was found in possession of more than 670 full tablets of mandrax and over 4,000 sachets of dagga. The vehicle used in the commission of the crime was also seized.
The suspect has been charged with drug dealing and is expected to appear soon in the Standerton Magistrate’s Court.
