Meanwhile two suspects, including a tavern owner, aged 33 and 35 were arrested on Tuesday, 26 December 2023. According to information, the two were arrested on charges of kidnapping and murder. It is alleged that the two suspects together with their friends who were traveling in a Toyota Hilux kidnapped the victim on 16 December 2023 after accusing him of theft. The victim was allegedly assaulted until he was weak. The victim was allegedly kept inside the tavern during the ordeal. Further details indicated that the following morning (17 December 2023) he was taken to the clinic but later transferred to hospital.
