Filling station safe blown, 10 robbers sought, Nelspruit

Members of the South African Police Service at Kanyamazane, near Nelspruit are looking for a group of approximately 10 men who blasted a drop safe at a local filling station and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

According to information at police disposal, around 01:15 on 24 June 2019, police receive a complaint of a robbery in progress at the said filling station. They responded swiftly and upon approaching shots were fired at them and in turn, retaliated. A group of men fled the scene on foot in various directions.
