On 6 April 2018, at approximately 23:50 Louis en Thea Rautenbach were attacked at Jock of the Bushveld chalets, R40, Barberton.
Thea’s son was stabbed in the face during the attack on the farm and is not in a serious condition.
The attackers also fired shots during the attack, presumably with a .38 revolver, luckily no one was injured by this. Various items including a playstation, cell phone and laptop were taken. The suspects fled on foot through a fence that was cut earlier into the neighbouring farm of Hannes Boshoff.
The police are investigating, there have been no arrests.
