The ANC government of Cyril Ramaphosa will be very sorry if they decide to take the land from a farmer in Mpumalanga without compensation. The farmer, who prefers to remain anonymous, has decided that the farm’s value will drop drastically if the government decides to take his land.
He says there are many ways in which the farm can be made “useless”, because if they want to take land, they can do it, but before that day finally arrives, his farm will be “converted into a piece of land that will be useless for a very long time ”.
When asked what he was going to do there was apparently only a mischievous smile on this honest face of a man who built his place up with hard work.
“One of the first things that can be done is to burn down all the buildings and destroy the fields where crops are standing, break up dam walls, destroy windmills and boreholes, but that’s not all …” he said.
