On 5 May 2018, at 16:00 a cattle guard was severely injured when he was attacked with a panga.
The farm attack took place in Ogies, Mpumalanga. The farm worker was attacked next to the cattle kraal, where his home is, where the attackers were attempting to steal the cattle. After calling for assistance from fellow workers the attackers fled leaving the victim with serious panga wounds, he has been admitted to a Witbank hospital.
The attackers fled in the direction of Pola.SAPS are investigating the incident.
