A farm attack was averted on the night of 5 July 2021, on a farm in Leandra, in the Mpumalanga province of South Africa. An unknown number of attackers gained access to the home area of the farm after fatally poisoning the farmers dogs.
The attackers managed to get a way past the electric fence and enter the property.
Fortunately there was extra security in the way of beams that picked up the attackers movements and raised the alarm.
The attackers fled the scene and as a result of these extra security measures and another possible tragedy was successfully averted.
There were no arrests.
