A farm attack took place on 18 December 2018, at 09:30 in Delmas, Rietkol, (Sundra) in Mpumalanga. Three black males overpowered the gardener, and asked whether Johan and Yvonne, his employers were home. Upon his answer of not knowing where they were, one held him and two attackers went into the office, and once again asked the personnel where Johan and Yvonne were.
When they also answered that they don’t know, they were taken though the house, and locked together with the Gardner. Cell phones, cash and laptops were robbed together with their car, but the car was later recovered closeby.
Although the attackers wanted Johan and Yvonne, no one recognised them. All of the victims are traumatised. No one was injured. No arrests made yet.
