Thirteen of Eastern Transvaal’s district hospitals are in a severe crisis due to a shortage of critical medical and administrative staff.

The hospitals in the Ehlanzeni area, have vacancies of up to 75%.

This confirms the countrywide chaos in medical care where a shortage of equipment and staff service is handicapped.

Meanwhile, Gauteng MEC Health Officer Gwen Ramakgopa tried to put out fires about the state of health in this province, promising “improvement.”

Observers say that the growing health problems in different provinces will make it impossible for the ANC to implement and maintain a national health plan.
