Double standards with rewards

The Eastern Transvaal Hawks have offered a reward of R100 000 for information leading to the identification, arrest and successful prosecution of the person responsible for the murder of Michael Phelembe.

Phlembe was an engineer for the Department of Public Works in the area.

Observers do not approve of the killing of Phelembe, but points out that there are no rewards offered for murderers who kill a farmer or his wife during a farm attack, it is suggesting double standards. White lives have apparently became worthless in the eyes of the rulers.
