Piet Retief Police have arrested three suspects aged 24, 35 and 45 for double murder on Sunday 9 January 2022. It is alleged that they shot and killed a couple aged 66 and 63 years old.
The same suspects on 16 December 2021 robbed a victim at Susana Farm in Piet Retief items to the value of R55 200.
The third suspect on the group was found at KwaMsane Police station arrested for possession of unlicensed firearm.
All three suspects have already appeared in court at Piet Retief and their case postponed to 17 January 2022.
