A farm attack took place between Middelburg and Witbank, Mpumalanga province. The attack was tweeted by Ian Cameron of AfriForum on 9 February 2019. A couple with three children attacked by armed men and an eight month pregnant mother was shot in hand and back. The father was also shot once. The mother managed to get away in vehicle with children and the father joined them in hospital later.
There is no other information available at this stage, police are investigating.
