2 Arrested with R250k worth of dagga, Nelspruit

The Provincial Commissioner of the South African Police Service in Mpumalanga Lieutenant General Semakaleng Manamela has commended members from Nelspruit Flying Squad after they arrested two suspects aged 32 and 39 on charges of possession of dagga on 9 June 2022, along the R40 Road between White River and Nelspruit.

The suspects are expected to appear at the White River Magistrate’s Court.

According to the information the members were conducting their routine patrolling duties when they spotted a suspicious looking BMW.

They stopped it and upon searching it found large bags of dagga worth an estimated street value of R250 000-00 and arrested the suspects.

The Provincial Commissioner, has applauded the members for their vigilance and alertness.
