On Thursday 17 January 2019, members from Mitchells Plain SAPS were busy with crime prevention duties when they received a complaint of drugs being sold at a house in Tradouw Street, Tafelsig. Upon searching the premises police found Mandrax tablets and Dagga.

Police arrested a 40 year old male.

In another incident, police acted on information about drugs being sold at Delarey Street, East ridge. Upon their arrival, they found a 28 year old man in possession of 51 packets if Tik and Mandrax tablets.

The suspect was arrested.

Both suspect will appear in the Mitchells Plain Magistrates’ Court once charged.
