While Brian Molefe was waiting for his R30 million “retirement” payout, Lynne Brown, the minister of public works, stopped the payment by saying that she did not see any justification for the payout, as Molefe had already received a performance bonus for his work at Eskom.
However, whatever achievement he performed, there was no report on it as he left Eskom under a cloud.
