Minister of Finance is completely off the track

Die Vryburger

The finance minister of South Africa, Malusi Gigaba’s, “grand” plan to save the economy involves a further sale of certain state-owned entities after March 2018.

According to him, SAA will have to pull up their socks or wings, and the SA Post Office must also be “recapitalized.”

All ministers who have control over state-owned entities have undertaken to accept responsibility for the success of the plan while Zuma will play a supervisory role in the whole process.

Observers are not excited about the measures and say Gigaba’s plan is basically nothing new. Also, it will not work if the wolves and the “chief fox are allowed to continue with their money wastage.”

The well-known economist, Mike Schussler, reports that all the plans mean nothing if there is no action resulting from the announcements.
