Minister of Police, Fikile Mbalula sends his full support to the SAPS, DPCI (Hawks) including the SIU and counterparts in the NDPP’s office, the NPA on all efforts towards stamping the authority of the State towards ridding our society of corruption in the public service and general criminality that has engulfed our nation.

“I am very cognizant of the enormous work we started and am alive to the hours and days of hard toiling by our dedicated law enforcement agencies – as momentum now hits, I want to assure each and every member of our investigating teams, our support staff that I am fully behind these noble efforts and they must continue to do their work without fear or favor” – said Mbalula.

Minister Mbalula further assures all South Africans that South Africa remains a nation of the rule of law and there are no holy cows in the due processes and take downs that are ensuing.

Law enforcement agencies under the Ministry of Police are this week engaging in operations to ensure that justice is done and importantly that justice is seen to be done.

Minister Mbalula requests that police be given the space to do their work without any undue pressure or influence from any quarter.
