Minister bought votes for Ramaphosa, ANC cadres are now unhappy

The dust has not yet settled around the CR17 “donations” in 2017, after it emerged that the Minister of Small Business, Khumbudzo Ntshavheni, had made large donations to ANC leaders. The donations are believed to be for voting for Ramaphosa during the 2017 ANC leadership election which he narrowly won.

In Limpopo, Gauteng, Mpumalanga, North West and KZN, ANC cadres are now unhappy about her actions and feel that she has abused them.

Further allegations are that some of the donations were used to build her “palace” in Thohoyandou for her mother and helped her to buy a luxury car.

According to the CR17 “leak”, Ntshavheni, Thembi Siweya, Enoch Godongwana, Marion Sparg and Mxolisi Dukwana earned millions for their role in the election campaign.
