Man killed while enjoying a braai with his family

Mondeor, South Africa – An armed robbery took the life of a 47-year-old man, who lived in Bellefield Avenue, Mondeor on Wednesday September 24 at about 20:00.

Pierre Brydges was enjoying a braai with his family when four African males accosted him as they were sitting outside.

Brydges stood up and one of the suspects shot him once in the chest.

The suspects, who were all armed, searched the house, taking jewellery, cellphones, a TV and a white Nissan Maxima, registration SCF 937GP.

The suspects fled the scene driving a kombi, the registration number is unknown…
