Pretoria, South Africa – A man in his fifties, was admitted to hospital after he was attacked and tortured in his home on the smallholdings of Doornrandjies, west of Pretoria.
Ian Cameron, AgriForum Chief of Community Security told Maroela Media that the man lives alone in his house and his three sisters live in another home on the same smallholding nearby.
The man was attacked on September 23, 2014 at 22:00 by three men who demanded weapons. The victim was severely tortured. The suspects fled after they stole an electronic device. Ian Cameron told Maroela Media the man’s sisters were not attacked.
He said the police responded quickly after the incident was reported, but no arrests have been made yet.
