EFF leader Julius Malema told followers at the weekend not to burn the ANC flag and T-shirts. He was presenting his party’s candidate for the premier of the Free State, Mandisa Makesini, to about 3000 EFF followers in Thabong, outside Welkom on Saturday.
He urged supporters not to burn the flags and T-shirts of the ANC and that of other political parties.
“The ANC has a good history. We are here to bury corruption. Free State is the last province to build RDP houses . . . you won’t get houses because of corruption.”
Malema said he had opened a corruption and fraud case against President Jacob Zuma. He said the president should be arrested following Public Protector Thuli Madonsela’s final report on Nkandla.
