Julius Malema, leader of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) speaking at a memorial service of Cuba’s communist leader, said that “blacks are illiterates, unemployed, plagued by drug abuse and, are dying because of the evils of White South Africans.”
Malema continued to verbally attack the minority saying that white people are devils troubling blacks, devils that had destroyed the lives of blacks. Malema stated that whites must return what they stole from black and save the country an unnecessary arrest. Malema said, “One day we’re going to have an outburst. We’re unemployed because of them. We’re dying of diseases because of them. We’re illiterate because of them. We’ve surrendered to drugs because of you. You owe us a lot.”
Malema is basically saying he wants TRANSFER of ownership of our land whether it be by war, stolen ownership (expropriation; murder like in the concentration camps, denouncement of rights by deceits, extortion by gangsterism-, extortion by economic action (falsification of currency)-, extortion by industrial actions, BEE-, or recovery by demeanor violation by military power).
It is not the responsibility of the whites to look after blacks and uplift them, it is the responsibility of the government. Malema admits that blacks cannot look after themselves. Why is it that they never have money to spend on education, yet they have money to buy alcohol and drugs. While drug abuse in South Africa is rampant, it is the government who allowed foreigners into the country and corruption to flourish.
The whites have not caused blacks to remain unemployed, it is the government who have failed to create jobs. The whites cannot be held responsible for the majority dying of diseases, it’s the government who control and manage the public health sector. It is not the evils of the whites that have caused millions of black to remain illiterate, it is the government who implemented a substandard education system. The threats of land invasion are not going to solve the problems until the majority can accept responsibility and work the land. It is all about accountability.
