VIP Protection costs the taxpayer around R500 000 per bodyguard per year. And now Julius Malema is also protected at taxpayers expense after he received “death threats.”
He claims it comes from right wing groups but also from people supporting Supra Mahumapelo who are angry at the EFF for bringing a no confidence vote against Mahumapelo.
But what about the numerous death threats Julius himself made over the years? “Kill the Boer” and “cutting the throat of whiteness”. No wonder the man has enemies. Question is: Who is protecting the people against whom Julius uttered threats?
We truly doubt that any right wing group plans to assassinate Malema. No political movement based on a leadership cult ever survives the person. Fascism died with Mussolini. National Socialism foundered with Hitler. The Rainbow Nation went to the grave with Mandela. The EFF won’t survive Malema. They’ll start tearing each other apart before he is properly cold.
And, as rumour has it, Julius has health problems exactly because he went “unprotected” before, – why would anybody bother to do what seems to be happening already?
No, in our opinion this really only shows that the “Commander in Chief” is a big noise and a scared little boy behind the noise.
