Woman dead after severe elephant attack in Kruger National Park

A group of people were attacked by an Elephant on 30 March 2017 in the Kruger National Park, Limpopo.

Sadly one Lady was declared on the scene.

The Elephant tusk entered her lower back and exited her chest. She also had a severe open fracture to her left knee.

A lady with a right femur fractured was treated on the scene and transported to Tzaneen Medi Clinic.

Medical personnel were escorted by Rangers with rifles as the injured was quite a distance from the road.
