The South African Police Service in Vhembe District in Limpopo launched a manhunt for five unknown male suspects who bombed ATMs in Waterval policing precinct on Sunday, 14 May 2023 at 01:05.

It is alleged that five unknown armed male suspects accosted security guards at Njhakanjhaka Saseki Sopping complex in Bungeni and held them hostage while bombing the ATMs.

They subsequently fled the scene on foot without firing any shots.

It is not clear at this stage whether money was taken however, police investigations continue. The suspects are still at large.

Police request anyone with information that can lead to the arrest of the suspects to contact Captain Mabunda on the number 082 565 7901 or the nearest Police Station or the Crime Stop number 08600 10111 or use MySAPS App.
