A major breakthrough on several cases of crimes reported in and around the Soutpansberg, Louis Trichardt areas was made after two more suspects of a group of four, was arrested on the night of 8 January 2020, by a joint team of Louis Trichardt SAPS, K9 and the town and farm watch members.
The operation was conducted as a follow up on information received of a farm attack and robbery at Waterpoort that took place on 7 January 2020. One suspect that was arrested in the early morning of 9 January 2020, was the third suspect that got away with the Waterpoort Farm attack on 7 January 2020.
The Soutpansberg Task team also found several firearms, other stolen property and information that the syndicate might be linked with several cases of Cell Phone Tower battery theft as well as housebreakings around Limpopo.
The team is still busy with investigation. This was a job well done and all roleplayers are congratulated with this success.
