The fight against property crimes in Limpopo was taken to another level when the suspect, wanted for over thirty cases of burglary was on Monday 26 March 2019, apprehended by a dedicated Team of Investigators.

Communities in Polokwane, Seshego, Tzaneen, Giyani, Mahwelereng and Makhado Clusters will now breathe a sigh of relief after they were subjected to a reign of in which their hard earned cash and valuables were allegedly stolen from their premises by the suspect.

The suspect, in his thirties, ran amok around the province between 2012 and 2018, breaking into the residential premises and stealing money and properties. Some of his targets when breaking into homes were plasma TVs and other electrical appliances.

On 20 April 2012, the suspect allegedly broke into a house at Bolobedu outside Tzaneen and stole a plasma Television set. Seshego Cluster was mostly affected after the suspect was linked to 15 cases of burglary residential.

It is believed the suspect may be linked with more similar cases around the province as police investigation are still proceeding. He will soon appear before various magistrate courts.

The Acting Provincial Commissioner of the South African Police Service in Limpopo Major General Jan Scheepers hailed the investigating team for removing this criminal from our communities.
