After the horrific murder of Lizette Deacon, who was in her fifties, and her mother Hettie, who was in her seventies, on Thursday 10 September 2020, one attacker, a Zimbabwean, has been tracked down in Mookgophong (Naboomspruit). Their bodies were found in their car outside the town, near to the Hoer Landbouskool Kuschke. They were tied up and brutally murdered murdered.
‘Bosveld Misdaad Ondersoeke’ received information and together with the provincial detective and tracking branch of the SAPS, the flying squad and Senyaka Nyaka security company tracked the attacker to his residence and arrested him at 02:00 on 13 September 2020. Further information lead the team to Zebediela where the second attacker was identified and is still being sought. More arrests are imminent.
