The Police in Makhado outside Thohoyandou have launched a massive manhunt for a group of armed suspects who have attacked and blew up a cash in transit vehicle with explosives along the N1 North of Louis Trichardt on 19 February 2018.

This group of suspects blew up the safe on this security vehicle, robbed an undisclosed amount of cash before they fled the scene.

During this incident, one security officer was shot and injured but there were no fatalities.
