An Intelligence driven operation was conducted in Thabazimbi by Crime Prevention and Modimolle K9 Unit focusing on Drugs around Regorogile and at Lesego Kenosi in Botha Squattercamp. Drugs and stolen tablets were seized.
At Greenside Ext 44 in Wesertnburg ,Matlala and Makgofe in the Seshego Cluster, eight suspects were arrested for the possession of two unlicensed firearms and suspected stolen goods.
At Monsterlus village in the Nebo Policing area, two suspects were arrested for business robberies and the vehicle used during the robberies was confiscated.
In Giyani at Gandlanani and Ndengeza villages two suspects were arrested for housebreaking and theft. Several stolen goods were recovered.
In Makhwibidung village, Maake a hijacked isuzu bakkie was recovered after it lost control and overturned while the suspects attempted to evade arrest.
All the arrested suspects will appear before various Magistrate Courts soon and Police investigations are still continuing.
