Joint intelligence led operation, dubbed Operation Zonke was conducted at Mashau Bodwe village in the Makhado Cluster this weekend comprising of various Police Units focusing on drug related and Trio crimes.
During this operation, a 57 year old man was arrested for dealing in dagga and dagga was seized.
In the Giyani Cluster the joint intelligence led operation was conducted at Hlanganani Policing area focusing on property related crimes and two suspects aged 23 and 24 were arrested at Olifantshoek village for a series of business robberies.
The following were recovered. One cell phone, three 9 mm firearms, three 9mm magazines, thirteen 9mm live ammunition and one revolver.
The arrested suspects in these operations, will appear before the various Magistrate’s Courts soon.
