A farm attack took place on Saturday night 27 February 2021, in Thabazimbi, in the Limpopo province of South Africa. Five attackers fled the scene and a follow up operation on Sunday morning 28 February at 06:00, by the police and security companies saw five attackers arrested and five firearms recovered near Brits.
The police, KGBG, Heritage Protection Group and PPS security companies pursued the fleeing attackers just outside of Brits in the North West province. Five attackers aged between 27 and 34 were arrested and a number of robbed items, including electronic equipment, clothes and other household items were recovered.
Four firearms, two rifles and two shot guns were found attached to the chassis under the Toyota Hilux double cab vehicle and a revolver and ammunition was found inside the vehicle.
The attackers will appear in the Brits magistrates court on Tuesday 2 march 2021.
