Safer festive season operations intensify in Limpopo, 60 arrests

The South African Police Service in Limpopo continue to work tirelessly during this festive season period as an implementation of practical tactics to ensure safer environment for all the citizens of this Province.

Operation Quiet Storm, which was up and running until this morning, 27 December 2018, have led to the apprehension of more than sixty suspects for serious charges in a number of Clusters, especially in the crime infested areas.

The Provincial Commissioner of the South African Police Service in Limpopo, Lieutenant General Nneke Ledwaba, has applauded these teams of members for the sterling work done and has encouraged all the members to work hard in order to sustain the zero tolerance for any criminal activity throughout the Province.

The Provincial Commissioner has further hailed members of the community who continue to work closely with the Police by providing quality and reliable information at all times which contributed immensely in these successes.

All the arrested suspects will still appear before various Magistrate courts soon.

The operations will continue until the end of the Festive season period.
