A Safer Festive Season operation, composed of different law enforcement agencies, along the N1 road was conducted this morning 6 December 2018.
The Provincial Commissioner of Limpopo Lieutenant General Nneke Ledwaba, who also formed part of the operation, commended the members for their continued commitment and determination in ensuring that the community of the Province as well as tourists are traveling safe.
He further reiterated that this kind of operations and related activities will henceforth be the daily occurrence. In addition to personally conducting the searches at the roadblock, the Provincial Commissioner also took part in distributing pamphlets to motorists to communicate crime prevention hints.
