The Provincial Commissioner of Limpopo, Lieutenant General Nneke Ledwaba, condemned in the strongest possible terms, the continuation of public violence and the burning of houses which took place in recent weeks at Diphale village in the Mecklenburg Policing area outside Lebowakgomo.

He reiterated his call to all members of the community to refrain and stop taking the law into their own hands by attacking and burning the houses of the people they are in conflict with, including killing them for suspecting them of alleged crimes.

The suspects are still unknown and Police investigations are continuing. Anyone with information about the suspects on these incidents may contact Brigadier James Espach at 082 576 0743, the nearest Police Station, Crime Stop on 0860010111 or the crime line sms 32211.
