Polokwane jewellery store robbery, police hunt suspects

The South African Police Service in Polokwane in Limpopo activated a team of investigators to trace and arrest suspects who committed a business robbery at a jewellery store in Polokwane, Savanna mall, on 12 May 2023, at around 09:00.

It is alleged that a 33-year-old female was on duty at a local store at Savannah Mall with her colleagues when a group of men armed with firearms entered the store, and demanded money and gold.

The suspects proceeded to the display area and safe, and took out jewellery worth thousands of rand and put it into a bags.

Two of the suspects assaulted the employees before they fled the scene in a grey Toyota Corolla sedan motor vehicle.

Police request anyone who might be able to identify the suspects as depicted in the attached photos to contact the Detective Commander Colonel Linkie Mathebula on 064 756 8218 or Crime Stop number 08600 10111 or the nearest Police Station or submit information via the MySAPS App.

The Police investigations are still continuing.
