The members of SAPS Limpopo Highway Patrol Team continue working hard to root out the mushrooming of drugs across the province.

This comes after the arrest of 47-year-old suspect for possession and dealing in drugs on 24 December 2020 in Polokwane City.

The members of Highway Patrol Team where busy with their daily Patrol duties when they received information about a suspicious man driving around the city suspected of dealing in drugs.

The vehicle matching the description was spotted at one of the streets and stopped. During the search operation, drugs were found hidden inside the vehicle

They proceeded to his residential place in Bendor Eastern side of Polokwane where various types of drugs such as CAT, crystal meth and nyaope were found stashed inside and cash amount of and cash amount of money. The vehicle used to transport the drugs was also seized.

The suspect will appear in the Polokwane Magistrate’s court soon

The Acting Provincial Commissioner of Police in Limpopo Major General Major General Jan Scheepers has warmly welcomed the arrest and applauded the man and woman in blue for the continuous hard work.
