The South African Police Service in Northam have launched a search operation for a 35-year-old man, Hendrick Stephanus Venter who went missing from Plot 14 Deput in the Northam policing area.

It is reported that the man was last seen by his stepmother on the evening of 4 September 2021, at about 18:00.

Police together with the family conducted search operation at friends, relatives and surrounding areas where he frequently visited with no success.

He was reportedly last seen wearing a brown short pants, black T-shirt and flip-flops at the time of his disappearance.

Anyone with information that can assist to locate the missing man is requested to contact the Investigating Officer, Sergeant Selolo on 082 758 1428 or 082 565 7611 or the Crime Stop number 08600 10111 or nearest Police station or MySAPS App.

Police investigation and search operations are still continuing.
