Police search for missing Tzaneen teacher, Charmaine Van Stander (55)

The South African Police Service in Tzaneen have launched a search operation for a missing teacher Charmaine Van Stander aged 55, residing at Premiapark in Tzaneen.

It is alleged that, she was last seen on Saturday, 21 November 2020 at about 10:00 in the morning when she left home, driving a red Hyundai i10 with Reg FJK 447L. She allegedly told her daughter that she was going to town, but since then, she never returned back home.

She is a teacher at Benvorster High School. The clothes she was wearing are unknown.

The police were notified on 23 November 2020 and conducted search operations at relatives and friends without success.

The police search operations and investigations are still continuing.
