The Police in Levubu has launched a manhunt for the suspect(s) involved in the brutal killing of a one year old boy. A report of a missing child was received on 15 April 2019 at about 08:00 in the morning, made at the local Police after the child went missing at Khwekhwe village.

The child was allegedly sleeping with his father. It was reported that the child’s father went to the toilet at about 20:00 on 14 April 2019 and when he came back, he allegedly found the child missing. The child was reportedly staying with his father after he was separated with the mother.

The Police responded immediately and started with the initial investigations. The lifeless body of the child was then found with multiple injuries in the crèche yard, not far from his father’s house.

The motive behind this incident is not clear at this stage. The suspect(s) involved in this gruesome murder is/are still unknown at this stage.
