POLOKWANE – The Police in Polokwane have launched a search operation for two missing persons, who went missing separately at Polokwane.

A 47-year-old woman, Phaladi Miemie Makgafela from Lethuli Park, was last seen at Grobler street in one of the stores at Polokwane, on 07 August 2023 at around 10:50. Allegedly, she is mentally challenged and has since disappeared.

She was wearing a black and red hat, orange and brown jacket with brown boots.

Meanwhile, Joel Nchaupa Madie aged 33 from Ga-Maja, Mmatobole went missing on Tuesday, 08 August 2023 at around 08:30. He left home going to Polokwane town and he since disappeared.

He was wearing a black trouser, white shirt and brown tekkies.

Police conducted search operations at relatives and friends without success on both reports.

Anyone with information that can assist the Police to find the two missing persons should contact investigating officer Warrant Officer Peter Mangakeng on 0827289831 or Crime Stop number 0860010111 or the nearest Police Station or MySAPS App.

The Police investigations are still continuing.
