The Police in Dennilton have launched a manhunt after the Station Commander of Groblersdal Colonel Lebyane Jeffrey Seroka aged 57, was shot and killed by unknown assailant(s) in front of his house at Mmaganagobuswa village at about 04:30 on Saturday morning 17 October 2020.

The suspect(s) thereafter took the member’s motor vehicle, a white Toyota Hilux and fled from the scene. The vehicle was later found abandoned along the Denilton-Maklerekeng road.

Preliminary police investigations indicated that the deceased woke up early in the morning and prepared to go to a funeral. At about 04:30 he went out of the house and as he was about to leave, he was then shot dead in front of his gate.

The motive for this killing is unknown at this but police investigations are continuing.

A team of investigators has already been assembled to hunt down the killer(s).
